KJAZZ Radio UK exists to promote independent musically produced original content and is authorized to use the music it plays in its streams and broadcasts.  Each Artist/Band has signed a 'Release Form' which is held on file with KJAZZ Radio UK. The 'Release Form' allows KJAZZ Radio UK to promote their music via its broadcast streams.  In consideration of publicity and credit given to the Artist/Band as applicable and at no cost or charge or royalty payments by KJAZZ Radio UK (“KJAZZ Radio UK”) its owners founder etc., the Artist/Band irrevocably grants to KJAZZ Radio UK and its assigns, the full perpetual right to use the songs initially listed and songs that the Artist/Band chooses to send in the future for broadcasting on KJAZZ Radio UK including public performances and outside broadcasts, advertising and promotion of KJAZZ Radio UK, including You Tube and social network sites. KJAZZ Radio UK may not sell or otherwise knowingly distribute or share the named Artist/Band’s material and can only use Artist/Band’s material as stated above.  By signing the 'Release Form' the Artist/Band also warrants that they are either the original composer of the song or have been given the right to allow KJAZZ Radio UK to use the song/s.  If a copyright breach is proven the Artist/Band will be removed from the KJAZZ Radio UK at the discretion of the Owner or Founder. Q. Can I copy, share or distribute or re-broadcast KJAZZ Radio UK? A. Not without permission or arrangement with KJAZZ Radio UK.  All music we play is licensed by contract between KJAZZ Radio UK and the musician.  This license does not permit further distribution unless it is agreed and associated with KJAZZ Radio UK in advance. Legal - You must not adapt, edit, change, transform, publish, republish, distribute, redistribute, broadcast, rebroadcast or show or play in public this websites content or the material and music on this website (in any form or media) without our prior written permission. This also includes using the KJAZZ Radio UK Music to stream music within any business.  If you wish to do this then contact KJAZZ Radio UK.
 

Musician & Band Consent to Play Music

In consideration of the following conditions the Artist/Band, acknowledge that I/we/they are the legal original owner of, or legal controller of, the copyright to permit the use of songs and publicity materials of certain property designated as songs and publicity materials.

In consideration of publicity and credit given to the Artist/Band as or charge or royalty payments to Paul Rumsey and KJAZZ Radio UK (“KJAZZ Radio UK”), the Artist/Band does irrevocably grant to KJAZZ Radio UK and its assigns, the full perpetual right to use the songs listed and songs that the Artist/Band chooses to send in the future* for broadcasting on KJAZZ Radio UK including public performances and outside broadcasts, advertising and promotion of KJAZZ Radio UK, including You Tube and social network sites. 

 KJAZZ Radio UK may not sell or otherwise knowingly distribute or share the named Artist/Band’s material and can only use Artist/Band’s material as stated above, unless a separate contract has been agreed and witnessed in writing. 

 The Artist/Band or KJAZZ Radio UK may revoke this agreement at any time by giving One Month notice. There are two options: By letter - If the Artist/Band wishes to revoke this agreement they may send a letter to the following address: KJAZZ Radio UK, KJAZZ Studio, Marchant House, Southwater, West Sussex, RH13 9GH, England. After receipt of the letter KJAZZ Radio UK and its staff must destroy all Artist/Band songs listed above and cease publicity of the Artist/Band. KJAZZ Radio UK will send an email confirming the letter has been received and the material and songs have been destroyed within one month of the receipt of the letter By email - If the Artist/Band wishes to revoke this agreement by email, an email is sent by the Artist/Band to KJAZZ Radio UK to revoke this agreement. KJAZZ Radio UK will respond to confirm the Artist/Band wishes to revoke the agreement.  The Artist/Band simply reaffirms by email. On receipt of this reaffirm email, KJAZZ Radio UK will within one month delete the song/s listed above and remove the Artist/Band from the website. We will send you an email notifying you the deletion has taken place.  This will conclude the arrangement and a new contract will need to be drawn up should the artist wish to return to KJAZZ Radio UK. Note: KJAZZ Radio UK reserves the right to revoke this agreement at any time even with or without email or written notification to the Artist/Band but in doing so must delete songs and promotional data that has been submitted and is owned by the Artist/Band. The Artist/Band also consents to the use of any printed matter in conjunction therewith. The Artist/Band hereby waives any right that he/she/it may have to inspect or approve the finished product or products, or the advertising copy or other published matter that may be used in connection therewith, or the use to which it may be applied. The Artist/Band hereby releases, discharges, and agrees to save harmless and defend Paul Rumsey and KJAZZ Radio UK, legal representatives and assigns, and all persons acting under his/her permission or authority, or those for whom he/she is acting, from any liability in relation to the above named songs by virtue of any distortion, alteration, use in song form, or otherwise, that may occur or be produced in using said songs and publicity material or in any subsequent processing thereof, as well as any publication/broadcast thereof. The Artist/Band hereby releases, discharges, and agrees to save harmless and defend Paul Rumsey & KJAZZ Radio UK, legal representatives, and assigns, and all persons acting under his/her/their permission or authority, or those for whom he/she/they is or are acting, from any liability in relating to copyright or infringement thereof in relation to the above named songs whether known by the Artist/Band or not.  The Artist/Band further agrees that they have not sampled, copied or otherwise used material previously copyrighted by other parties in the creation of the songs they have submitted to KJAZZ Radio UK.   The sending of such material previously copyrighted by other parties, if discovered or proven, will give just cause for KJAZZ Radio UK to immediately terminate the agreement and permanently ban the Artist/Band from KJAZZ Radio UK. The Artist/Band hereby warrants that he/she/they are 18 years of age or over and legally competent adult/s and have every right to contract in his/her/their own name in the above regard. If under 18 years of age the Parent or legal Guardian must complete this contract. The undersigned states further that he/she/they have read the above authorization, release, and agreement, prior to its execution, and that he/she/they are fully familiar with the contents thereof. If the undersigned is signing as an agent or employee of a firm or corporation, the undersigned warrants that he/she is fully authorized to do so. This release shall be considered binding by his/her/their heirs, legal representatives, successors, and assigns. upon receipt of an email to: kjazzstudio@gmail.com containing song/s and promotional material.  If music is used an email response will be sent acknowledging. The original will be email kept as evidence that the Musician, Band or Artist has read the above and agrees to the conditions as stated.

Privacy Notice

About This Policy We are obsessive about respecting the privacy of our listeners and customers. This policy explains how we will collect information about you through interaction with us over this website. As a musician, any personal information you provide about yourself to us, may be shared for your promotion across our social media sites but will only be used in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Firstly, please be aware that we do not aim to collect any personal information from individuals under the age of 18. Please note, this Privacy Policy does not apply to websites or text services operated by third parties, who will have their own Policies covering the use of your personal information, or to those webpages . 

How we will get in touch with you You have the right to request that we cease marketing you as a musician, whether by e-mail or otherwise. You can also do this by contacting us at kjazzstudio@gmail.com. 

Collection of Information Listeners - We do not collect listener personal information we do allow listeners to communicate their views via email but that is the limit of personal information retained. Musicians - The information we may collect will include name, address, phone number, email address, your music, marketing publicity, news updates you share.  We may also ask for additional information depending on the nature of the service provided. We will not collect any sensitive personal information from you, and in any event, will request your express consent to do so. 

Cookies We do not currently use Cookies 

Use of Information We will use your personal information for a number of purposes including the following:
  • provide, administer and communicate with you about our services and promotions.
  • analyze and improve the services we offer.
  • create profiles and marketing opportunities, and analyse information to formulate opinions. To do these things, we might use information about you from other websites.
  • help prevent fraud and loss.
  • get in touch with you about products, events, promotions and services.
  Sharing Information We will not sell, trade, rent or otherwise pass on your personal information to others, including any personal information that we collect, except as described here or with your prior consent. We will always ask for your consent before we publish any material provided by you or information about you. Use of Aggregate Information We may share anonymous aggregate statistics about our users, sales and traffic patterns with our advertisers and other third parties. However, it will not be possible to identify you from this information. For example, we might report to potential advertisers that a certain percentage of our users are interested in its products, based on information requests.

Changes to our Privacy Policy We reserve the right to change our Privacy Policy and all changes will be posted here. Where the changes are significant, we may also choose to email all registered users of our websites with the new Privacy Policy.
