KJAZZ introduces WaKaNa who plays Smooth Jazz, Soul, and R&B. She was born in Futtsu City, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. Graduated from Shobi Music College. Appointed as Futtsu city's tourism ambassador since 2017. P. Mauriat endorser.  Also Theo Wanne Mouthpiece and Légère Reed's endorser. Debuted in the United States with the 1st solo album "Saxcess Story” Produced by Greg Manning in 2018. She released “Go for the Sound feat. Darren Rahn & Koh Mr. Saxman” Produced by Darren Rahn in 2020. Also, the “SilK” was Produced by Greg Manning in 2021. "Go for the Sound" got airplay throughout the United States, and was also ranked in the Smooth Jazz chart. She also actively performs in various countries around the world, including a performance at a festival hosted by Michael Paulo, a sax player in Los Angeles, and held her own live show in San Diego. One of the authentic Smooth Jazz Sax players in Japan and one of the most notable artists right now. She released her 2nd solo album “A Sunny Day” on May 4th 2022.

KJAZZ introduces Mario Bakuna who is a London-based Brazilian composer, arranger, singer and guitar player, with twenty years of professional experience. A graduate of the Free University of Music in Sao Paulo, Brazil, he studied with musicians such as Olmir Stocker, Roberto Sion and Roberto Bomilcar (pianist who played with Frank Sinatra during his visit to Brazil). In Brasil, Mario Bakuna has played alongside the trombonist Itacir Bocato, guitarist Renato Consorte, and pianist Nelson Aires, just to name a few.



Marcus Click Not too far in the recent past, Marcus released the single “Brand New Day” (2018), globally and to 200+ radio stations globally. The song was composed/produced by jazz sensation, International Recording Artist/keyboardist, Jonathan Fritzen, whom also performs on the single. It debuted at #1 song, with the most spins during its 1st week in rotation on Billboard Smooth Jazz radio stations across the US. It even received airplay in the UK and charted 7 consecutive weeks on The Smooth Jazz Network Top 100, along with peaking at #1, #5, #30 on other jazz charts.


James Robinson is a phenomenal guitarist from the San Francisco Bay Area suburb of Campbell CA. James Robinson gives a high energy and charismatic performance that is not afraid to explore instrumental improvisation to the deepest level. Each performance is a trip into the magical realm of sound, with the depths of his music fueled by the energy of the audience. James Robinson grew up in the San Jose suburb of Campbell, the twelfth of thirteen children, and was inspired to learn classical piano at age eight and moving to guitar at the age of 12. James studied voraciously every imaginable kind of music 8-10 hours a day. All manner of instruments and styles were played in the household, from jazz, classical piano, fusion, blues, country, rock, and the list goes on. The Robinson family home is always filled with every music style imaginable! James is greatly inspired by the multi-cultural influences of is home.  James blends these unique musical colors into a virtuosic exhibition, leaving listeners in awe of his talent. James performs true musical fusion by integrating multiple genres and musical styles from around the globe and crafting these colorful sounds with musical artistry.


Kim Scott - From her 2011 debut album, “Crossing Over”, to her #1 Billboard charting 2019 album, “Free to Be”, Innervision Records label recording artist Kim Scott has impressed audiences across the globe in performances and on the airwaves. Known for her exceptional tone, intoxicating melodies, and flawless technique, she is one of the most sought-after flutists in both the classical and jazz fields. The contemporary jazz superstar has an ever-growing fan-base garnered from her continued presence on the performance scene and from her visibility as radio host of the nationally syndicated, two-hour jazz program, “Kim Scott’s Block Party Radio”, which airs weekly across the world. She’s a fresh image and sound for today’s contemporary jazz scene.

With four albums to her credit, Kim Scott has proven to be a mainstay in the field and promise for the future as both a soloist and collaborator. Ronald Jackson, journalist for The Smooth Jazz Ride, states “Artists like Kim Scott bring an exuberance to an art form long prophesied to be a thing of the past in short order by critics. When you listen to the Pied Piper-like allure and magic of her style, you come to the conclusion that those critics couldn’t be farther from the truth.” Her collaborations include performances and recordings with Jonathan Fritzen, James Lloyd, Jazmin Ghent, Greg Manning and others.

Kim Scott has performed on the stages of Blues Alley, Seabreeze Jazz Festival, Greater Hartford Festival of Jazz, Catalina Jazztrax and more as a soloist. She is also a member of the all-female jazz supergroup Jazz in Pink, alongside other musicians such as keyboardist Gail Jhonson and violinist Karen Briggs, and has shared the stage with them across the country.


Blake Aaron Dubbed "a genius on the guitar" by the Los Angeles Times, he launched his career as an L.A. studio musician and sideman and has recorded and/ or performed with an incredible array of jazz, pop and R&B artists.
